And there you have it. Proving the point quite nicely. |
Damn right. There's nothing wrong with sending the surplus illegals back to where they came from. |
| Christopher Columbus was a great American. |
I'd love to see some goodfellas kick the asses of those "Antifa" thugs. Pop the popcorn and sell tickets. |
Bens Chile Bowl took down Bill Cosby and replaced him with that notorious corrupt racist and tax cheat D.C. Mayor Bar-ry. That may be worse. |
The first draft of my response actually began with "Just like you keep trying to remind us that all conservatives aren't alike..." but I thought that might be incendiary. But yes, know that that was my intention. It's hard to remember that all people on "the other side" aren't the enemy. But in an era like this one, it seems--to us--that if you support one position, you must support them all. |
Interesting. I've gotten this response before. Denial much? Yeah, I was, and I'm not the only one. Still am a moderate, it's just that you crazy Left extremists have moved too far left, too extreme, too pompous and self righteous, and I'm over it. Oh, I'm a minority, immigrant, female too. Kiss my a**. |

It's hard to remember that all people on "the other side" aren't the enemy. But in an era like this one, it seems--to us--that if you support one position, you must support them all. I did not vote for Trump. But on a purely emotional level, this sentiment and the incessant, hysterical rush to tag anyone who supports even a single position that Trump or the Republicans puts forward as a bigoted, homophobic, white supremacist racist tempts me to consider casting a "protest" vote for him in the next election. |

PP. My point was, it's hard to remember that the folks on the other side aren't the same. But we should talk to each other like individual human beings, not as "the enemy." That's all. |

Hmmmm. The natives of the day would consider Columbus s "surplus illegal." |
Tila Tequila, is that you?!?! |
DP. This is me too! Minority's, female and a first generation immigrant. Grew up hating GW and his bogus war and was staunchly Democratic. Thought Al Franken was pretty awesome. But these past few years the Democrats have gone off the rails. Voted for Hillary because I thought Trump was an idiot but the amount of hate and lies they have been spewing have turned me off for sure. Voted for Hogan in Maryland because Brown was too far left for me. Honestly, whether you believe it or not, there are quite a few lapsed democrats like us. |
Not a minority or immigrant, but reformed Democrat. Like you said, Dems have gone off the rails. I want nothing to do with that party anymore. BTW, I work in public health. My program is for undocumented pregnant women and children. I love what I do. Go ahead, ultra libs - try to wrap your head around that. |
Did Europeans come here with nothing and expect to be fully supported by what are technically called aboriginal peoples? What was on the land? Go to the wheel. The axel was the hard part to invent and it didn't seem to have been done in multiple locations. Incas, Aztecs-advanced civilizations with buildings were not in North America. Polish and Ukraine. https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/why-it-took-so-long-to-inv/ Oh the Poles- they are also the people who rescued Vienna from becoming part of the Ottoman Empire. All this hatred is really stupid. |
