I have been busting my butt working out and eating better for more than a year and have lost 40lbs and I think she has gained the 40 that I lost, at least it feels that way.

It stinks to not be in the same place on this issue. I want recapture a little youth and feel healthier, more athletic and skinny and I would prefer that she try to do the same but I just don't see it happening.

I'll bet my husband feels the same way about me. I joined weight watchers to lose 30 pounds and I've been trying to exercise more. But, I have a 2 year old and a 4 year old, I work full time, and I'm tired. He has a flexible (freelance) work schedule and he is a natural at mindful eating and fitness. He looks great! I really miss feeling even slightly fit.

He should be doing much more childcare and housework, so you have time and energy to exercise.

If he has a problem with that, suggest it'll be easier for him to lose weight than pay you alimony and child support after you divorce his fat ass

Life is too short to have a fat husband.

Enjoy your divorce!
It's much, much easier for a guy to find a second wife than it is for an older woman.
He'll be able to find a hotter, younger version of you in two seconds flat!

I pay for full time childcare for one kid (school aged) as well as cleaners twice a week a gym membership and two club memberships. Let's just say the results aren't there. I would throw a lot of money at this if there were even an effort to try to get back to an early marriage level of fitness. I am trying every day and the more that I try the less she tries. I actually think she is resentful that I am trying to remain fit

Make an effort to be more fit and more attractive. I am not even saying that I want results, just show me some effort.

You sound like a bitch.

What if you're husband posted a "my wife is getting a belly" thread.

I hope he leaves you

Poke him in the belly and make the Pillbury doughboy noise. He'll get the message quick!

I see the insecure men got into the liquor cabinet last night.
