Maybe a psychic experience rather an experience with a psychic.

Many years ago I was engaged and my fiance died instantly in a car accident. At the time I was living several thousand miles away. The day of his death I happened to be house sitting, and found the owner's cat dead under a bed at almost exactly the moment he died. A month or so later I was in NYC and met up with a couple of people who knew him. We went to a Chinese restaurant. There was dead silence after I opened my fortune cookie and read the message: "He's all right."

That is amazing. Also, I've always wanted to be the person in charge of writing the daily oracles baked into fortune cookies at a Chinese restaurant.
