Ever been to a psychic and had a cool/creepy experience?

Yes. I've had a psychic who truly creeped me the hell out. She didn't really ask me anything about myself- other than confirming my location (this was over the phone), which I had already given when setting up the phone call (I was explaining why I couldn't come in person, she doesn't usually do phone readings but I'd heard she was really good and asked anyway).

She just started talking- and she knew insane stuff. I still have chills. Things I had not thought of in years- for example, there is a very specific thing from my past that I had not thought of in years. I dont want to give the exact details- but let's say I dabbled in an aspect of religion that went very badly for me and got scared and left it, but was worried about residual effects at the time. I hadn't thought about that in literally years and just kind of forgot about it, and she knew just exactly what went on.

A lot of the time I was speechless and just crying as she spoke- she knew about specific health issues I was having- from the exact (specific symptoms) and explained what I was doing that caused it. Sure enough, I did what she said and it all went away.

A lot of other stuff- that's the power of a good psychic- reaches so deeply inside of you that it's like deeper than any therapy session, gives you guidance and reminds you of the deep spirituality we are all murking through.

I saw one once; she was doing Bach flower essences (sue me; I was a teenager). It's been 20+ years, but I remember that she was insistent that there would be a person who would change my life and she kept saying something about a boat, a ship, a larger craft and my life changing forever with this person, that the direction I thought I was going wouldn't be where I ended up because of this person. I ended up meeting my husband on a trip and later, he said he knew he loved me when we were on the cruise portion of the trip.

It's so funny and true. I have gotten psychic readings where I was so annoyed that the psychic wasn't telling me what I needed to hear and then gone back later and what they were saying was so valuable and important. But I wanted to know that my ex was actually going to call me, or crush really liked me, etc. Really funny.

NP here (not the original poster at all) but even I can answer your question. It has a profound effect of knowing that her dead parents are still "around" and communicating with her (through the psychic) and therefore are probably watching over her. It probably gives her peace of mind.

When I was a teen I saw a palm reader who told me I'd have three pregnancies. She wouldn't say if I'd have three children.

I had two daughters and a miscarriage.

I saw a tarot card reader whose parting comment to me was, "watch out for (man's name). A few month's later my company hired a guy with that name and he was a nightmare. He was with the firm for only 18 months but caused all kinds of chaos. I took the psychic's advice from day one and I was very, very careful about how I handled this guy. Yes, I went to a psychic/medium when I was in college. It ws a random decision, not an appointment; I was walking around with a friend, and we passed the shop and he insisted we go inside. The psychic asked me if there was anyone I would like to contact, and when I told her I just wanted to see what she came up with, she said she was feeling the presence of my dead mother.


That was creepy because I had not believed in psychic/spiritual stuff, and I don't think that someone who was a fake would immediately guess that a young college girl's mom was deceased. This is the reasons I'm an agnostic, not an atheist now.
