The investigation is not being shutdown. The MPD is continuing to investigate. What is different about this murder investigation is that it is being politicized by conspiracy theorists.

Here is a list of unsolved homicides in DC during 2017:

https://mpdc.dc.gov/page/major-caseunsolved-homicides-2017

Why are you and Hannity not speculating about any of these if you always speculate about murders?

It's strange that a so-called Bernie supporter is not interested in finding out what really happened to Seth Rich. He may have lost his life for getting some justice for Bernie from the corrupt DNC.

Russians made contacts to all sorts of people all the time. But why are you only speculating about a collusion with the Trump campaign?

Where have I speculated about collusion between Russia and the Trump campaign?

I do want to find out what really happened to Seth Rich. I do not want the investigation muddied by a politicized conspiracy theory. If you think for one minute that Hannity gives a damn about Seth Rich, you are a bigger fool that your apparent belief in this conspiracy theory already suggests that you are. Hannity only cares about diverting attention from Trump and doesn't care how much damage he does to the investigation along the way. Those of you promoting this conspiracy theory are just as bad.

And also would like to know why "DC police can't investigate DNC." The DNC headquarters is in Washington, DC and there is no reason why it wouldn't be investigated by MPD should they have found that necessary.

Now Hannity says he won't talk about the Seth Rich case at this time "out of respect for the family".

Are you happy now the lone dissenting voice is being silenced? I think the reward money currently at more than 100k is too little for such a robbery case. If we raise it to a million dollars, maybe someone will turn in the robbers?

There is the small problem of "Hannity and many others" not having any evidence. This is Pizzagate all over again and you fools should be ashamed of yourselves.

I'm curious re: Assange. He's not been wrong. I'd also like the video some of the cameras in the neighborhood probably captured made public. Someone might recognize the shooter. It would also be interesting to know where Seth's laptop is.

Exactly. Where is that laptop?

Why do posters keep asking about the location of the laptop? You folks clearly know nothing about computer forensics. Nobody ever does forensics on the actual computer. This is true both for Rich's laptop and the DNC's servers. You make an image of the drive (and memory) and then copy that image and work on the copy (or copies). Otherwise you risk corrupting the original data. The MPD examined Rich's laptop. They would have made an image which they likely still have. Since nothing was found on the laptop, it could be returned to its owner. Based on statements by Rich's family, it appears they may have the laptop (at least they have said that neither the MPD or FBI has it). But, that does not mean that the MPD doesn't have a copy of the data that was on the laptop. For what it is worth, while the FBI never got access to the DNC's servers, they would have had access to images of the servers.

All this to divert from the fact that the data (which is what we mean when we say 'laptop' and you know that) never went beyond the MPD?

What does the bolded change?

Let's make it $10,000,000,000. But we will always have Newt. Oh, and the guy on the corner screaming about LaRouche.

1. One year later, exactly WHAT "investigating" is the D.C. Police Department dong?

2. Who are they still questioning?

3. Who exactly has examined Seth's laptop?

Zip. Let's be honest here.
A MPD press conference is in order, but forget it.

Seth sacrificed his life.

He intends to quietly continue the investigation. As well he should.

The laptop was inspected by MPD. As was in the Washington Post today:

https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/were-seth-richs-parents-stop-politicizing-our-sons-murder/2017/05/23/164cf4dc-3fee-11e7-9869-bac8b446820a_story.html

We know that Seth’s personal email and his personal computer were both inspected by detectives early in the investigation and that the inspection revealed no evidence of any communications with anyone at WikiLeaks or anyone associated with WikiLeaks. Nor did that inspection reveal any evidence that Seth had leaked DNC emails to WikiLeaks or to anyone else.

Even his parents are saying they have no answers to the cause of Seth's murder. That fact points to the absolute necessity that the investigation gets stepped up, NOT shut down. During murder investigations, the public AND the media ALWAYS speculates. How is this murder investigation so different from all others?

People are murdered all the time in DC. Random people murdered, yes. Why is his different? Is he special than all the other murder victims? Why more concern for him?

Why are you and Hannity not speculating about any of these if you always speculate about murders?

Have those savage murders been headlined in WaPo? No. People respond to headlines with discussion and further questions. Especially when there's a political connection of any sort. Think Sandra Levy. Imagine her brother getting out and telling people to just stop discussing it.

I think the investigation needs to be stepped up. And how did John Podesta's name get connected to this? The more we try to shut down questions and discussion, the more people want to know. And will keep asking. No?

So unless our name can make the paper, your murder isn't worthy of an investigation. Note to PP, I hope when someone murder your loved on it gets the same amount of attention you think the other no names receive.

Robbers? What robbers?

- NOTHING was taken; not his expensive watch, his smartphone, or his wallet.

The only indication there were, as you put it, "robbers" is a theory put forth by MPD (who likely wish this matter would disappear like the body-cam recordings of all 3 responding MPD officers - which also mysteriously disappeared).

And why did you make "robber" plural? Have some inside info to share? By your indicating there were at least 2 robbers, you have suggested 2 or more people worked together - conspired even - to murder Seth.

Why did they conspire?

NP. It's DC. People are beaten in daylight or at night for reasons or for no reason. I assume that Rich was killed for a botched robbery or for no reason, like other senseless violent crime in the District.

What is your source for your allegations that the body cam recordings and the three officers have all disappeared?

I recommend that everyone start contacting Hannity's advertisers and insisting they back away from his horrible program:

All it takes is a tweet!

I'm thinking this person isn't in DC and opining on things she know nothing about. It's obvious the more she post that she has no insight into the everyday randomness of DC violence.
