I was a special education K-12 teacher. I couldn't care less if men though it was a hot profession. Even though my boyfriends treated most of the time, I wanted to progress in my career. I went on to earn a Ph.D. from a Research 1 University. I work in well respected and lucrative profession. I have street cred with K12 classroom teachers, also. I never found a man who cared about my profession, unless I was very unhappy or complainin or talking about work too much.

My fiancé is a police officer too and I think it's so sexy. Part of it is knowing I can trust him to be able to handle even the craziest of things. And that uniform!! I'm not a nurse though, I'm a prosecutor. Yes, we met at work!

I also think any profession that requires a fair amount of grittiness and physical work is sexy.

You should know better. No profession has more promiscuity or infidelity than cops.

It was Al Gore who didn't know the difference.

- A Statesman/diplomat/high level civil service: My father was an Ambassador so I grew up in this world. The glamour, the politcs, the adventure of globe trotting, the thrill of mingling with the world's who-is-who. The smarts it takes to make it that far. The intelligence needed to succeed in this profession and the sheer knowledge of what matters. and the worldiness and sophistication of everyone involved. DROOL. Always crush: Richard Holbrooke!!

- An engineer in a cool field such as the aerospace and defense industry: Clearly requires brains and dedication.I love smart men who can teach me things and whom I can learn from. Dream: He works at NASA and deals literally with out of this world issues. Passing on the smart genes to my kids.

- A doctor: again a profession that requires a smart, dedicated hard working man. I love that this is a serious profession where you actively make a difference.

- A lawyer: a noble field with a lot of prestige attached. Good pay. Requires smarts and a verbosity that is sexy.

My dh: none of these! lol

$$$ is the only thing that matters.

You sound pathetic. I am imagining a big floppy belly equity partner... meh, doesn't worth a money.

I find blue collar guys sexy - construction workers, roofers, truck drivers, etc. Kind of rough and tumble, capable of fixing stuff, drive a truck. Didn't marry anyone like that, but I don't think that was the question

Engineers!! Can fix anything

No such thing IMO.

Like actually directly linked to sexual arousal?

It's a porn cliche, but maintenance guy. But then, my old building had really hot maintenance workers...

I'm a college professor and DH thinks that is super hot. He likes me to get in to my "teacher outfit" (heels, pencil skirt, blouse) -- but the heels are much higher and more outrageous than I'd every wear in the classroom, skirt tighter, blouse unbuttoned way further. And of course, sexy lingerie underneath. He either plays the aggressive student who seduces the Prof, or the slacker who needs a little discipline after class. Either way, he is very in to my profession!
