The kids love ugly. I see teens wearing crocs again. So funny. |

Adidas Ultraboost for running shoes
Vans/Jordans for "cool" shoes |
Ahh, the sheeple boys. |
Yep. Same in our district. The popular, desirable stuff gets stolen. Shoes, clothes, whatever, if it's not on you or locked up...gone. We shop with that in mind. |
My 13yo kid hates Nike. Way too narrow and he doesn’t like the brand. He’s an athletic kid, FWIW. Usually UnderArmour, or (strangely) New Balance. |

At my kids’ school, Nikes. Jordans, Air Maxes, Air Forces (although I don’t consider those running shoes really).
Plenty of kids in Under Armour, Adidas etc too. I don’t see as many Converse and Vans for casual wear anymore, but still popular. |
| Crocs and bubble slides. |
+2 Most kids know what is considered cool (or at least “fine”) and will choose accordingly. It’s a tough age so I let my kids pick whatever they like within our budget (which I’ve had to increase). |
I don’t understand why you are asking. Why not let your kid pick? He should know what’s cool. What isn’t cool is a middle aged mom asking other middle aged moms what is cool. |
