I have read that this woman was "homeschooled" by her religious fanatic, trailer-park-living parents. Her view of reality is likely so skewed that there is very little hope of a normal life for her. I feel sorry for her, but even worse for her children and all the other women and children in that crazy, dysfunctional family.

She probably felt there was no option but to return to her husband and breed some more. Tragic.

Forget the prom star crap. That's their marital issue. She's an adult, and if she want to turn the other cheek, that's her call.

But, Josh also molested his sisters (4 of them I think) when they were pretty young. Based on HS behavior, he should be a registered sex offender. Not someone I would raise children with. In fact, that's not someone I would let have any contact with my kids expect under Court ordered supervised visits. Pedophelia is very hard to manage-- certainly if you are trying to manage it by praying it away, rather than getting real, medical based treatment. I'm sorry, but she should not under any circumstances have had any more kids with him. And she owes it to the 2 girls she has to protect them. CPS needs to be involved with this family if they are not already.

Her brother, who escaped the Gothard cult, offered to help her get out. But she stayed.

She's a grown woman who has not been isolated from the "real world". She has a right to her own religious views and as long as Josh is being a good father to their kids then that is their business.
