Here's where you're wrong, and where OP got REALLY lucky. She was almost certainly a homicidal psychopath intent on doing him harm and then storing him in the freezer. Possibly to serve him later as a main-course entree during 'girls night'. She targets insecure men in bars, roofies them, and then goes all Ginsu. I'm pretty sure I'm right since I saw this same thing on a LifeTime movie. I think Meredith Baxter-Birney was the star.

OP, here I did talk to my DW about it, just not the details. I couched in terms of how we've lost it over the years and how it felt good to know women are still interested in me. She said "that's nice" and proceeded to tell me she's been having an affair for the last 18 months. I've asked her to move out while I think what to do next.
