i don't think that's correct. There are a few new K spots every year because class size gets bigger.


We're moving back to D.C. after several years away, with older sibling in the lottery too. Back up plan is to rent IB somewhere rather than return to our house. Not ideal...

With an older sibling you should be fine. Older year spots are easier because some kids bail to private or move.
