What pisses me off is I got the text at 6:15, and I get up a 5:55 and kick the kids out of bed at 6:00 to get with the ridiculous middle school bell (and bus) schedule.
And our power isn't even out. Ugh |

You can always keep your student home if you decide there's an unsafe situation - entrance blocked, road hazards, etc.
I've done it once - cars sliding off road behind our house/then traffic jam/then emergency vehicle response I called the school to explain and DC went in few hours late. Excused. |
