Is anyone watching Spicer's press conference?

I've heard lots of talk about the numbers, but has anyone mentioned how the Time reporter suggested that Trump removed the MLK bust from the Oval Office? That was a ridiculous accusation to tweet out and be wrong about it.

Did it ever occur to you that the President of the United States should be above getting in fights on twitter in regards to furniture in his Oval Office? That his Press Secretary should not call an emergency press conference on a Saturday afternoon lambasting reporters over a model head and crowd optics? Let's forget the angry tones, the diatribe, and the lies. It's BENEATH him. I don't even know what to say anymore...he's not a president, he's a child.

Okay, you know what? WHO CARES.

People can see for themselves what happened yesterday. There was no need to call further attention to it.

If someone is constantly talking to you about bullshit matters, you should put your hand on your wallet and back away slowly.

Yep, that is exactly what they're trying to do.

Duh, I knew this as soon as I saw the empty dais, an hour before spicer opened his mouth.

It is killing Trump that today's march has twice as many people as attended his pathetic Inauguration.

I agree that it was an overreaction. But regarding the bust, can you even imagine a reporter accusing another president of removing the bust of a revered civil rights leader from the Oval Office on the very first day in office? Without confirming that it was so? I promise you, it would never happen. You think there was no hope on that reporter's part of advancing a certain agenda with that misstatement? Anyone even trying to be unbiased can admit that was very irresponsible, and extremely unlikely to have been an accident.

Not only that, but just because Spicer comes out and says that the MLK bust wasn't removed doesn't mean it wasn't. Sure, maybe it's there now, but that doesn't mean it wasn't removed and then replaced.

The important point is: this tit for tat should be BENEATH the president. Rather than shouting about the lying media, Spicer should say, "There were reports that the bust of MLK was removed from the oval office. This is incorrect, the bust remains. Next question?"

Well I saw him take the oath of office so I know he is the president. He does not give a rat's ass that some of his critics don't approve of his behavior. It got him to where he is today, so why should he care?

BTW, just to be clear, I am not a Trump supporter but the song he chose for the inaugural balls should tell you where he is coming from - "My Way" - and he is going to do things his way.

Lol, is that your subtle way of finding out if he'd be open to your advances? Want his digits?

Bill Kristol has been anti-Trump from the start. The surest indicator that Trump was going to defeat Hillary was when Kristol said that she was going to win in a landslide. I figured that this was a danger sign because Kristol has been a disastrous prognosticator for several years.
