How can you not find Prince Philip attractive? Maybe this is where Harry gets his looks (+ the red coloring)

| ^^ Meant to say plus the red coloring from Disna's side |
| Less plastic surgery and makeup. You've forgotten what regular people look like. |
Yes, take a look around the conference room at your next meeting on Monday. Not so attractive, huh? |
Yes, came on this thread specifically with Prince Philip in mind. Young queen was lovely too. Very much of her time. |
So very true. -PP you quoted. |
He doesn't look remotely like Earl Spencer. And you need to learn to spell. And you're very, very rude. |
NP, and I agree with the above. Harry looks exactly like Diana's brother, including the red hair. There is no evidence or indication he is not Charles' biological son. You read too much trash at the checkout counter. |
There were lots of rumors that Philip dallied around after he was married. |
He looks exactly like Diana's brother, but with Charles' close-set eyes. You really need to stop repeating what you read in the tabloids. My DH is British and we don't live in the US, so I actually know quite a bit about "British public knowledge", and no, it is NOT "public knowledge" that Harry is anything but Charles' son. The only British people I know who repeat mean, stupid gossip like what you posted are less educated people who think the Daily Mail, or the Independent, etc. are valid news sources. |
| Prince Philip was VERY good looking. I think Harry does look quite a bit like him. Charles looks like a mix of both of his parents, but only their least desirable traits. He actually wasn't too bad as a very young man, though. The Queen was an adorable child and young woman. She had 4 kids and still looked great. |
| I saw an interview with one of Diana's lovers - maybe on Graham Norton's show. He said the royal family had given him a blood test - when they were checking for Harry's true paternity. |
Yeah, the queen was never pretty, but definitely knew how to accessorize.

When ever I see a thread started on DCUM about how bad looking the British Royals are - from Kate Middleton to the Queen...I wonder who this whack job is who starts these threads.
I mean there is this total obsession with the LOOKS of people from across the pond who do not have any impact on our lives and are not even Americans. Then I figured it out. It has to be someone related to Wallis Simpson, and feeling rather upset that Edward did not get to become king. She was from PA, you know!. |

The Hapsburgs are irrelevant to the British royal family. The Hapsburgs were Catholic, the British royals have been resolutely NOT for over 500 years and were not allowed to marry Catholics until 2011. They married various products of German principalities, yes, but not Hapsburgs.
And hemophilia has zero to do with inbreeding, either. It was one spontaneous mutation that arose in Queen Victoria (30% of hemophilia cases have no family history) and was passed down. The last European royal who had hemophilia directly linked to Queen Victoria was Prince Waldemar of Prussia and he died in 1945. King Felipe VI of Spain comes from a way more inbred line than the British royals and he's definitely not hard on the eyes. |
