Bullsh*t! I am so sick of hearing that men (or women) for that matter falsely accuse a husband (or wife) of abuse as a litigation tactic. Most allegations are true and more importantly many victims of abuse never file for a protective order because they are afraid that the abusive partner will escalate and kill them or seriously injure them. Men abuse women because they can because people like you undermine them and minimize the problem by saying false accusations "happen all the time." If you have a daughter you should educate yourself. One out of four women suffer domestic abuse in their lifetime. Once I realized a close friend was being abused and tried to help her, I was shocked by how many women I knew were in or had been in an abusive relationship. PP should be ashamed fore spreading misinformation on such an important issue. |
Sorry, but false accusations of abuse, etc. happen also quite a bit, unfortunately. The two (false and true accusations) are not mutually exclusive. |
+1000. I have sons and daughters and I'm concerned about all of them facing either abuse and/or false accusations. |

Remember there is no truth in Trumplandia. Systems are rigged. The messengers are biased. Intelligence is faulty. Sexual assault victims are liars.
Only Donald is the source of truth. All hail the Donald. |
How do you know it wasn't true? And regardless, even if so, that's one that you know. Trump admin has three. Seems a tad too coincidental, no? I know no one who has been accused of such things. What's wrong with these guys? |
Oh you have not. Stop your bs. |
Oh, okay. Busted. I'm sorry I lied.
|
So you'll give Donald Trump the benefit of the doubt and assume that his ex wife is the liar and the con in this scenario? Funny, if sheer track record of misogyny and assault on women were indicators, than my bets would be on Ivana on this one - that she was being truthful and has subsequently dismissed her initial statements because she realized there may be some expedience in doing so. Bannon has a track record of bigotry and awful statements against women; again, not surprised, based on his own actions, that he doesn't like Jews. But more to the point, Trump supporters will do and say just about anything to convince themselves their candidate and his cronies are the good guys no matter how much the facts point to every other conclusion. |
Ok, I'll play. I don't know of a single case of false abuse accusation IRL. How many do you know? And what are the chances that there's a bunch of falsely accused in the new Cabinet? |
Given you're fine with someone who accosts women and grabs their genitalia without consent so there isn't much legitimacy in what else you want to say. |
How original. Thanks for being the 1,000th +/- person on DCUM to remind us. I think I've finally gotten it. |
|
No, you didn't get it because you are still defending Trump. Apparently you are a really slow learner. |

^ "This is why we hate liberals - because you rub our noses in inconvenient truths that we'd prefer denying 1000 times."
Maybe instead you ought to try not being wrong and then people will stop rubbing your nose in your hypocrisy and ignorance. |
NP here. How typically liberal of you to resort to name-calling in place of a cogent argument. But hey - that's fine. Keep doing what you are doing; it's clearly working for you. |
