It follows creeped me out so bad. I thought it was a metaphor for AIDS but there's a lot of theories floating around the Internet. |
| That stupid movie with the Asian woman from Grey's Anatomy and the guy who plays SJP's husband on the Divorce. The one with the scene about merlot. It got such critical acclaim, and I seriously thought it was the most boring film about hatefully self-absorbed asshats. |

The Wolf of Wall Street
Suicide Squad Unforgiven |
|
The Princess Bride
It seems everyone loves it---I can't stand it. |
| Budapest Hotel |
I think it was a statement about the unforeseen emotional/psychological consequences of hook-up culture. Kinda late in the game for an aids metaphor. I'm generally not a fan of the so-called brilliant subtle thrillers like It Follows and The Babadook. |
I hated it too. Hate all his movies except Rushmore |
| The Big Lebowski. I think it's funny, but I really don't get a lot of it. |

Titantic. I wanted Leo DiCaprio to die so badly by the end.
|
| Princess Bride. So lame. |
It was awesome!! |
+2. Kerflummoxed. Other ones for me: Lost in Translation, Napoleon Dynamite. |

This thread should be split into two.
The first would be "Movies so dumb I don't get why anyone wants to watch them" (e.g. Titanic) The second would be "Movies I'm way too stupid to understand" (e.g. movies by Tarantino or Kubrick) |
