No, there aren't. |
Trump was probably the straw that broke that camel's back. |
No one is disputing that there are open investigations. You cannot be this dumb so I feel like I am wasting my time responding. Do you deny that the FBI obtained a search warrant? You understand the FBI cannot get just run out a buy a search warrant, right? All of the things the FBI is doing right now require open investigations. |
Why, what prompted the switch? |
Money from Putin

"No one is disputing" = "Everyone is saying" |
Do you understand the difference between an investigation and an indictment? The head of the FBI said she was under investigation. Clinton has acknowledged it. She said she and her staff were cooperating with the investigation. I'm just going to stop. You are either not very smart, some kind of conspiracy nut, or you are trolling. |

I posted early. I am one of the posters who is a registered republican and is voting for Clinton. I'm also a woman and college educated, living in the DC exurbs.
I just made the decision during the primaries if Trump was in, I was out. He did enough crazy things BEFORE the nomination to be disqualified. I am struggling with my house vote. I liked Comstock, but want to send a message that the party left me. I am trying to decide whether to vote for Bennett or leave it blank. I think there are a lot of suburban women in my position. We see the crazy and don't want any part of it. |
You'll never stop! You're just like your guy Trump -- if there's something ugly or nasty to say, you'll make sure you get it out there. P.S. Trump is under investigation by the FBI, too. They haven't found anything so far on him, either (just like HRC), so I guess, since it's not that you won't vote for someone indicted, but someone merely under investigation, you can't vote for Trump either. SAD FACE! |
I am voting Bennett to end the embarrassing, years-long gridlock in the Congress. I am sick to death of telling people I'm a Republican and having their interpretation of the party be the antics of the past several years. We need to vote the bums out. (Fellow suburban college-educated woman, here!) |
Uh, what? You mean that nonsensical Trimp University probe? |
Wait. Which is it? You were just insisting that there was no investigation. Now there is? Also, I'm not voting for Trump. I just can't stand stupid people on either side. If you are going to have an opinion, at least make it an informed one. |
This is exactly how my spouse feels. He's been a Republican his whole life and has been frustrated with the party since 2000, but at this point can't take it anymore. The Tea Partiers and evangelicals and the Koch Brothers have hijacked what used to be his party - he is fiscally conservative and for a strong national defense, but could not care less about social issues. His ideology is essentially "live and let live". At this point, he feels he has no party. To the OP's question - he's decided to vote a straight D ticket. He hopes that the Republicans lose both the White House and the Senate (he was also hoping the for House, but that's unlikely to happen) because he wants the GOP to get the message that the majority of voters don't want what they are selling. I personally find it pretty sad. I'm a moderate D - always have been - and I have disagreed with many planks of the GOP platform for a long time. However, I think as a country we are better served by a political system that has at least two viable political parties that can work together and find solutions to the many problems we're facing. It's a dark time in American politics. |
You go girl! This thread is reaffirming my faith in Republicans and also humanity! I got hope! |

If Hillary wins this election I will never vote for another Democrat in my life. And I am (or was) a life long Democrat. This will end it for me. I feel utterly betrayed by the Democratic Party. We could have had a solid candidate and an easy win. I will never understand why Hillary was shoved down our throats.
And don't start the "But Trump, bullshit". No sane person want to see President Trump. That just pisses me off even more. Obama did some great stuff. And we are about to turn our country over to one of two repulsive candidates. |
