I wasn't listening for a couple weeks during the Bobby/Lindsey breakup. What was the reason? They still love each other but he doesn't want to get in the way of her career? Was it his choice or hers? If my bf did that I'd be mad if I wanted him to stay.

I know this thread is old, but as someone who sometimes likes/sometimes dislikes this show, it has become unlistenable lately! Had to vent about the following:

1) Bobby’s ego/humble bragging is out of control. Sick of the endless promotion of his book/comedy tour/American idol, his constant touting of his ‘super busy schedule’, etc. he also acts holier than thou constantly - we are fully aware you’ve never had a drink, no need to mention it 5x over the course of one show.
2) the ‘bits’ have gotten increasingly mean spirited. The latest is that Bobby is having some Memorial Day party and has been gradually giving out invitations on air. Two of the cohosts have not yet been invited and he’s acting like he’s not sure if he has room for them. I wish they both would tell him to shove it and that they have other plans.
3) Bobby needs to stop trying to make Mike D happen. It’s weird how he’s latched on to him and has him follow him around/hang out with him all the time. I feel like since Amy got her kids and has a life now, he needs another lackey.

Agreed on all counts, and also want to add that how frequently Bobby mentions that he grew up poor in Arkansas is so extra. We get it dude. He's getting really annoying, but I would choose bobby bones over kane show every day of the week. Well, Monday-Friday anyways.
