Trevor Noah hosts the Daily Show and it is fine. It's not as good as it was, though.

I agree, it is fine. But not great. What I loved about Stewart was that he seemed to be genuinely aghast, disgruntled, perplexed, and indignant. I'm not sure Noah is--he seems mostly to just like being in on the joke.

Yes, I know. I lived in South Africa, actually, as an American, when they were having their first free elections in 1994, and it wasn't as personal for me, either. But somehow John Oliver gets it, or at least conveys it, better than Noah does, wouldn't you agree?
