I think there's just one or two here who are convinced he had HIV. There's no evidence he did.

This is a whole lot of evidence he was addicted to painkillers, though.

I read he went to the Twin Cities hospital the day before he died. Doesn't the hospital have its own pharmacy? If he had drugs on him at the time of death, then he must not have taken all of them. It's not surprising to have Rx drugs in your own home, or to even be carrying some in your pocket if you've been sick. I still don't understand why he'd be riding a bike around and not getting someone else to pick up his Rx if he wasn't feeling 100%.

He was admitted for difficulty breathing a couple of weeks before. Respiratory distress from pneumonia can develop very quickly.

I don't know why this is so difficult to believe. Two weeks ago, my building manager, a very robust energetic woman in her 50s got sick from a relative with the flu, caught pneumonia and died. She was literally healthy one week, then dead the next.
