How about a pulmonary embolism, aneurysm, cirrhosis of the liver, cancer, or anaphylactic shock?

I hadn't seen pictures of him in a while, but he looked thinner and tired. It's possible he just was going downhill due to a combination of things. If he was forgetful or sleep deprived, he could have accidentally OD'ed while trying to control the flu or pneumonia and hip pain. I don't think he knew it was coming. His statement about not wasting prayers on him made it seem like he thought he'd be better in a few days.

A coworker of mine died of pneumonia. She was around his age - early 60s. She was not in great health, very thin and haggard and struggled with depression. Pneumonia is a really serious thing!
