Car Frugality Comparison

We've been married 15 years. We each brought a car into the marriage. Not including those, I'm on my 2nd car which will be 10 years old this fall. DH is on his 2nd new car which is almost 6 years old. we've never had a car payment. The cars when new were $28k and $20k.
HHI $175. Net worth about $3.5m.

We both had cars when we moved in together, but sold one of them off. We have been sharing a 2006 Toyota Corolla since then that I originally bought new. HHI $250k, 1 kid.

Methinks someone with that HHI should leave the free stuff to the people who could benefit from it for financial reasons.

Odds are that they donate more to Freecycle than they benefit from it...
