| Trump is an asshole and manages to piss off everyone which explains why EVERYONE, not just BLM has beef with him. |
+1. And that's why they lose any credibility and become a joke. The tragedy is that so many BlackLives don't seem to realize what's being said and done in their name. |
No the tragedy is that despite the fact there are a plethora of respected black doctors and lawyers and scientists and educators and executives all across the country for some strange reason they don't "count" in the court of public opinion. The tragedy is that they're neither taken into consideration when you online idiots make your sweeping generalizations nor are they given any respect for their work or their work ethic. The tragedy is that as far as all the wanna-be sociopolitical analysts out there in cyberspace are concerned blacks have no credibility - period. The tragedy is that there are a plethora of stubborn ignorant assholes much like yourself PP who get their jollies off anonymously typing absurd and insensitive opinions for the sole purpose of being combative and contrary. Are you really that stupid or are you just that bored? SMH - sad. |
Seriously. I'd like to see the Venn Diagram on all the different types of Americans he has disparaged, just to see which ones he has not gotten to. |
Perhaps they don't count for two reasons: 1) They don't speak up. When was the last time you hear someone from some respected black association say to the media "Rev. Sharpton does not represent us, and it is a disgrace that President Obama keeps him as his main counsel on AA affairs. Instead, he should consult with ABC and XYZ." 2) When they speak up, it is in such defensive and stupid ways as you just did |
Do you live in Whiteville USA? Do you have any black neighbors or friends or colleagues or co-workers or associates? Not all colored folk live and work in the ghetto you know - do you ever talk to any? Do you ever ask the black guy in your office if he Rev. Sharpton represents him? Do you ever query the black woman two doors down that you gleefully wave "Good morning" to and ask her what her thoughts are about AA affairs and who should be handling them? I bet you don't. I bet your punk ass is either too scared to do such a thing. I bet you cringe at the thought. Shame...if you did I bet you'd gain greater insight about the wide spectrum of attitudes and outlooks that blacks have. They're not a monolith you know. But I guess that's not convenient for you is it. It'd be too uncomfortable for you to have an actual meaningful discussion with one of them about their perspectives - heaven forbid. So what do you do - you rely on assumptions...presumptions...stereotypes... You rely on the images and stories about blacks specifically propagated by the media to engage viewers (entertainment value) and increase ratings (advertising revenue) as opposed to talking to the black people you live near and work and interact with. How come? I know why. Because like I said earlier - they don't count to you. |

90% plus voting for the Democratic party
Noone speaking out against BLM = monolith |
Congratulations on your ignorant assessment of an entire sect of people your racist forefathers would be proud. |
Thanks. You just proved what Black people have been saying on DCUM for years. That Blacks, no matter their level of education, SES or where they live, will be lumped together based on some bogus standard that some Whites make up to prove their point. Meanwhile, Whites get to be individuals and get to think independently of each other. So, because I do not publicly speak out against Al Sharpton, I support him and he represents me? LOL! How about I do not speak on him because he is non-factor in my life. Have you publicly spoken out against David Duke? |
| Anyone going to defend the black man who gunned down a police officer in Richmond? The perp praised cop-killers. I'm sure he was a victim, right libs? Or maybe he was 'crazy'. |
Anyone going to condemn the persistent penchant of non-blacks to TELL me what my values and beliefs are? Anyone going to renounce the ridiculous readiness of those who don’t belong to my ethnicity to arrogantly tell me what it encompasses? |
Who would defend him? What he did was indefensible. Like it or not, you do see a lot of "libs" on here defending cop killers. So I am not sure your attempt at cynicism even works. Well, was Dylan Roof crazy? Because when many of expressed that we thought he was part of a wider White supremacist movement, many Cons on DCUM said, "no, he was a lone wolf - he was just crazy" despite the fact that he openly identified as a White supremacist. So yea, if Dylan Roof was just crazy, so was the shooter in Richmond. |
* Like it or not, you do NOT[b] see a lot of "libs" on here defending cop killers |
Nobody will defend that killer. But, if this is the sort of activity in which you like to engage, let me play along. Are you willing to defend the actions of the police officers in this case: https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/the-watch/wp/2016/04/01/video-shows-white-cops-performing-roadside-cavity-search-of-black-man/ This is what black folks have to deal with on an all too frequently basis. |
Nope. Nor did I defend Roof or the cop that shot the man in the back. But here you are, giving the shooter of the cop an excuse for what he did. I don't make excuses for Roof. He was not crazy. He was evil, as are other white supremists. |
