| Mother Goose Club (Youtube or Netflix), Paw Patrol, Peppa Pig, Daniel Tiger, Dora. My 18th month old is obsessed with "shows". It's a bit of a problem.. But, she has an older sibling and kind of just goes with the territory. |
| My 15 mo old son was entertained for at least half an hour a few nights ago watching funny dog compilation videos on YouTube. He's really into dogs right now. He also likes videos of himself. |
| My 18 mo has older siblings, so gets plenty of screen time, but he will actually sit for nature videos like blue planet. |
| My 16 month old son loves Daniel Tiger, Elmo's world (especially the parts with music/singing), and Thomas and Friends. I first let him watch Thomas and Daniel when he was sick a few weeks back and those have become favorites. He will watch for about 15 minute stretches while playing with books or puzzles, or while cuddling with us on the couch. It's actually a very sweet time to bond and talk about what we are seeing on the show. |

Our DS had to start using the nebulizer daily at 13 months. For the first month we held him down while he screamed. After that, Daniel Tiger and Sesame Street. Ours was only for 20-min a sitting, but he definitely would have sat longer.
good luck OP! |
| My DD loves The Hive on Netflix. Also Sesame Street but we have HBO. |
| None, per pretty much every expert ever. The kid isn't even 1.5yrs old. Get off your rear and parent. |
Did you READ THE POST??? What is wrong with you, seriously? To attack a mom dealing with a child with a medical issue the best she can? Have you ever had a child with a special need? Clearly avoiding TV has not helped your ability to process information, so not really the spokesperson. Op, my son had to have EEGs. We found the Babies videos, mainly music/nursery rhymes, on Sprout, to be nice and slow. |
If you're such a poor parent that 20 minutes of TV is going to harm your toddler, then perhaps you are not as great of a parent as you think. Not all recommendations are meant to be followed religiously. Many of them are just out there to provide guidance to those who truly cannot make good, balanced decisions without them. |
You are a world-class asshole. |
| I just wanted to mention that libraries (at least in Montgomery County and I'm assuming it's common elsewhere) have lots of children's videos you can check out to provide variety. |
| Elmo or Baby Einstein videos on YouTube |
| My young toddler loves the "Super Simple Songs" playlists on YouTube, and I find them to be less annoying than a lot of the other ones out there. |
