Why do American millennial women (all races) all sound the same when they talk?

Anonymous
Every decade's fashion was different.

The 50s were different from the 40s.
The 60s were different from the 50s.
The 70s were different from the 60s.
The 80s were different from the 70s.
The 90s were different from the 80s.

Then the year 2000 and millennials came along...

Nothing original happened.

Still nothing has happened 15 years later.

Oh sure... cause 90's fashion wasn't at all derivative of 70s fashion at all....

You realize that you just make yourself sound like a fool when you try to claim that repeating fashion is something that has only happened in the past 15 years. Grow up.

One day millennials will put their smartphones down for a second and realize they are almost 40 and have texted away nearly half of their lives.

There was some 1970s influence in the 1990s but there was still originality going on.

Here is a picture of Air Jordans from 1994.
Nobody in the 1970s was wearing basketball shoes that looked like that.
Nobody.

Repeating fashion is a generous term.
What millennials have done with fashion in the past 15 years is outright theft.

Millennial icon Gaga.
Her entire gimmick is a ripoff of the past.

Another millennial icon.
Another ripoff of the past.

In all fairness there is probably a boomer behind the scenes pulling all the strings but still...

Theft is theft.

^Hunty. This happened before. It is happening now. And it is happening again.

If you seriously think millenials invented copying then I guess that is a kudos to us because it certainly requires less work, lol. I guess that was pretty smart of us.

Yes.

Less work = More time to fry your brains away with burning hot smart phones held right next to your skulls for hours upon hours each day.

Radiation has never ever been as HIP as it is right now.

Of which older generations have smoked more than their fair share...
Um, no. Nowhere near as commonly smoken among women than at any other point in history. You've been watching too many reruns of Woodstock.

Oh, so you're one of those nutters that believe that phones are causing mass cancer?

OK, cool. I think we're done here.

Fuck yes!

Uptown Funk? lol! Kids today might like it, but they can't name any of the performers who influenced it. Furthermore, the song was written by a 40 yo (a Gen Xer) who was turned on to music b/c of his mother's connections, as 40 is even too young to have grown up with The Gap Band, for example.
