OP- Go and buy one each of the recommended glasses, bring them home, try them out/test them for a couple of weeks and then go buy a set of your faves.

What I mean to say is, can anyone recommend stackable glasses? We usually pick up the most palatable style at Target, but they don't last long. Maybe because we stack them?

I don't think so. Where to buy glassware locally seems like a completely appropriate question.

Most of the answers have been for national chains: W&S, Ikea, World Market, Pottery Barn. It's not rocket science to go to one or more of these stores and pick up a few glasses.

And yet here you are, participating in this nonsensical thread that is so beneath your level of intelligence and interest?

i'm here participating because i read a thread title that suggested that either (a) the OP wanted to drink out of (?) glasses before purchasing them or (b) she can't figure out on her own where to buy some glasses (and doesn't understand that any brick and mortar store selling them would of course let you feel them). in other words, i'm here to make fun of OP. and here i am. WHEE!

At least you admit that your being a jerk...

my being a jerk what?

Wow, you really are a jerk.

I've been at the bar all weekend testing glasses, but I can't remember which ones I liked. So sad.

Actually, cheapo glasses can be very durable -- my sister once bought a set because the display was trashed and the box was crushed but inside, the glasses were going strong.

Unfortunately, they were ugly and she kept hoping they'd break so she'd have an excuse to replace them. No luck. They were the Rasputin of $12/18 glasses.
