I had no idea it was so low for Deal. For Wilson, I guess since the boundary used to be the entire city that actually makes sense.

Part of the Murcb boundary is in Ward 4.

Technically. Residents west of the Park (Lafayette district) are still pissed off from when their area was moved from Ward 3 to Ward 4 and hope that a future redistricting will move it back. They feel that the Ward 4 councilmember, who always seems to come from east of the Park, doesn't care about or fully understand the issues WOTP.

Deal's boundary is not just Ward 3.

Indeed. In fact, several Ward 3 neighborhoods were shut out of Deal despite being closer to it than some Deal feeder areas east of Rock Creek.

Our situation exactly.

Anonymous wrote:Under what scenario would Washington Latin need the space at St. Ann's?

Washington Latin did a major renovation, has fields, space that is tailored for students who are in Middle and High School.

Latin has been quietly investigating a satellite middle school campus. They are finding their retention rate from middle to high is not enough to fill the high school. They need more middle schoolers because they don't really accept new students for high school..

What are you talking about ?????
The 8th grade and 9th grade waiting lists were in the 200's these past two years.

I know several families who tried to get in for high school, at no avail ...

BASIS is NOT ward 2.
