Why is the gap on Madonna's front teeth widening?

Anonymous
I've a bone missing in my gum. Above front teeth so they have widened

Your bones soften as you get older, and it’s very common for your teeth to shift especially at her age. Common knowledge.

Back in the 80s (when she would have had her gap corrected), the fill-in was not permanent. So possibly it wore out and she decided not to replace it.

I developed a gap in between my front teeth in my late twenties that wasn’t there before! Got it fixed with some bonding. I think my dentist said it was caused by a strong fraenum

Why does this happen?

Not the PP but mine is due to shifting with age. My dentist said it's natural and that unless everyone wears a retainer, their teeth will shift as they age. This is regardless of whether they had braces in the past or not. I have never had braces. My top teeth were perfect and I grew up during a time when if your top teeth were good, they didn't encourage braces for the bottom unless your bottom teeth were very jacked.

I have one lower canine that was always pretty crooked. As I've aged (now in my 40s), it has turned more crooked, like going from 30° to 60°.

Age. If you do not get a retainer made in your 40s and wear it regularly, this is your future.

Okay, what’s your reason???

Hormonal changes in post-menopausal women decrease estrogen levels, which help protect bone density.

Reduction in estrogen is associated with increased gum inflammation and higher risk for periodontal bone loss.

She's more awful than her teeth.

It’s almost like her mouth id being stretched by increasingly large objects.

receding gums, comes with age. Teeth move

Gums recede with age so gaps widen or the 'black triangles' appear. People age, but teeth and necks don't lie/are harder to hide.

I find the least disgusting thing about her appearance to be her gap now. Her bloated face and scrawny body make me feel so embarrassed for her. She needs to give it up and try to look human again.

The bloat freaks me out. She was striking and would have aged beautifully if she’d let herself. It would have been a gorgeous statement. Like Lauren Hutton.

I know, it's sad. I would expect her to be more confident than that. And it's backfiring too. I can not believe that she is only 57 .

Who is 57?

Madonna is 65.
