Natural Maynoise Lice treatment kills child, it is more deadly then the so called "scary chemicals"

^^^whoops, I spelled children like the OP spelled mayonnaise

We vaccinate. We used the Cetaphil treatment with no problems. Chill the heck out.

We uses Vaseline when I was little. No way in hell could my parents afford to buy actual lice treatment for two kids.

Oh wait. I am in fact anti something. I am anti lice.

You are not a medical professional and cannot back your claims with evidence. Anyone who uses the word "chemicals" is an idiot, may and crisco both contain chemicals. Did you make the mayonnaise yourself after milking the cow in your backyard?

I guess that you've never made mayonnaise, eh? The ingredients for mayonnaise are egg yolks, oil, and lemon juice. No cows are involved.

Where do the eggs come from then?

Mayo uses chicken eggs, not cow eggs. Cow eggs are extremely rare.

DCUM is full of these idiots, anti-vac, anti-circ and natural lice remedies. these people are morons and should have their citizenship or VISA revoked.

I used Cetaphil plus a hair dryer to get rid of lice (and it worked). Should I call my bank and tell them to cancel my credit card?

LMAO. I like you.

Same thing here: Cetaphil, a hair dryer, and a few hours of nit-picking in bright sunlight got rid of lice on our youngest child's head and prevented its spread to anyone else. There are easy and non-lethal instructions available for free online. You will make a bit of a mess on the bathroom floor, however, and it requires more of your time than classic treatments.

BTW, my kids are fully vaccinated and I have a Ph.D. in microbiology. We are a household of vegetarians, however, so we should probably be deported regardless.

Daily combing with the terminator for three weeks got rid of lice for us.

I think she meant the cow is selling her chicken eggs.

Why would a cow have a chicken in the first place, let alone sell her chicken eggs?

Actually, back in the day, my mother's hair dresser used to put mayo on her hair when she did her perm. There were these tiny papers that they wrapped around each little section or hair before they put it in the roller. Apparently she used the mayo and then licked her finger to pick up the little paper (like you do when turning a page in a magazine and they are sticking together) and she ended up very ill with salmonela.

So apparently mayo can be dangerous.

Nonetheless, OP is completely pazzo!

Anti-circ? People realize that there are many more countries that don't circumcize than do, right? Most of Europe doesn't circumcize unless for religions reasons and they think it is crazy to do it. Is this really a thing and not just a personal preference....

Americans really don't like things to be "different" do they?

What the fuck are you talking about? I meant the home/natural remedies as opposed to the popular brands Nix and Rid. The evidence was the dead bugs i combed out of kids' hair. Which i actually saved in zip lock bags for a little while but have since disposed of them. Just so happens that i am a medical professional but lice is not typically thought of as a medical condition, at least it does not require medical intervention. I had no idea that use of the word "chemicals" is restricted to idiots, that is news to me.

WTF?? Why would you save those?!

Anonymous wrote:Look, looney tune, there's a big difference between anti vac and natural lice removal. And where anti-circ comes from is a mystery. You are lumping things together that make no sense.

In this case, you have misapplication of a home remedy- allowing 18 month old alone with plastic bag on her head was DUMB.

And yes, not vaccinating your kids is dumb, but in a completely different (and more dangerous) way.

+1

Whoa, 18 months old is too young to put a plastic bag on the head. It's not the natural treatment that killed her - it's the way the parents went about it. We wouldn't have used a bag, and just laid down a towel where she laid her head, and washed out before bed.

Stupid, neglient parenting killed that baby. Nothing else.

No more mayonnaise? What am I going to use at the buffet for the Bris for my son's circumcision?

We used a shower cap...worked great
