Please stop using this and go to the store and buy a CDC approved medication.
You people are idiots, same with cetaphel treatment. http://wtop.com/health/2015/02/police-massachusetts-girl-dies-during-head-lice-treatment/ |
| Lol who are you talking to? You just come in guns blazing speaking to nonexistent enemies. |
That is a sad story. But the CDC doesn't approve medication. |
DCUM is full of these idiots, anti-vac, anti-circ and natural lice remedies. these people are morons and should have their citizenship or VISA revoked. |
sorry meant to say FDA approved and CDC recommended. http://www.cdc.gov/parasites/lice/head/treatment.html |
I used Cetaphil plus a hair dryer to get rid of lice (and it worked). Should I call my bank and tell them to cancel my credit card? |
|
Look, looney tune, there's a big difference between anti vac and natural lice removal. And where anti-circ comes from is a mystery. You are lumping things together that make no sense.
In this case, you have misapplication of a home remedy- allowing 18 month old alone with plastic bag on her head was DUMB. And yes, not vaccinating your kids is dumb, but in a completely different (and more dangerous) way. |
It's very sad that this girl died. It was not mayonaise that killed her, it was being suffocated by a plastic bag. The Cetaphil treatment, I just looked it up. I do not see how it could be harmful in any way. There is no plastic bag used. http://www.ehow.com/how_2123367_treat-head-lice-cetaphil.html |
yes cause you are just spreading the lice around and no one should entrust you with a credit card. |
| And the issue wasn't the treatment, it was the plastic bag being put on her head, and leaving her alone long enough to fall asleep and the bag to slip. Very sad and tragic for the family, but it's pretty clear an 18 month old should never be left unattended in such circumstances. |

I am not anti anything myself. But i have wiped out thousands of lice with "natural" treatments (mayo, Crisco etc) and zero with the chemical stuff. I have never killed a child. My plan is to stick with what works. Thanks.
Oh wait. I am in fact anti something. I am anti lice. |
| The lack of supervision and plastic bag caused the death. Not the product used. The parents failed to supervise the child. The plastic bag suffocated the child. |
I am MAJORLY anti lice. |
You sound more than a little crazy. |
You are not a medical professional and cannot back your claims with evidence. Anyone who uses the word "chemicals" is an idiot, may and crisco both contain chemicals. Did you make the mayonnaise yourself after milking the cow in your backyard? |
