45 mins to an hour plus (two on a bad day). People do it, but it's far. I know of the company but have no direct experience. If I had one spouse working in West Chester and one in Bala, I'd live in between.

Here's a West Chester house that just went on the market. I know the people who are selling, and I've been inside -- it's gorgeous!

It's a little ways from the center of West Chester (but not far from The Four Dogs!). Too far out for me, but people who want/need horse property won't be able to live too close to town anyway. I just love that it has an open/updated kitchen in an old house.

I love so many things about the house - the stone, the fireplaces, etc. I guess you can't get a historic home and property like that AND be walkable into the town.
