Curry is not a spice! (Can you tell I am Indian )

Me, I love fresh garlic, but cannot stand garlic powder. Tastes musty to me.

Another cilantro hater. I made a chopped salad this summer and foolishly threw in a bunch of chopped cilantro- ruined an otherwise delicious salad.

I believe turmeric is the one I don't like in Indian food.

Another cilantro. And possibly fennel, too.

For me, it's the licorice family of tastes, most notably, licorice, anise and fennel (and ouzo, ugh!). I can't eat things with those in it. I can tolerate star anise and tarragon if I have to to be polite.

I think it tastes like soap...but I like it!

Saffron and chives.

I think thyme tastes so musty.

I've never met a spice I don't like!

I did have aversions to cilantro and onions with my first pregnancy though.

Oregano

Parsley I can't stand. I also hate bay leaf. Ugh - I stupidly added it to soup I made and now my slow cooker reeks of it.

Cilantro, yuck. I've learned to tolerate it though since it's snuck into so many things. I'm also not a huge fennel person.
