If you are a Jewish family, why on earth would you send your kid there? And by refusing to even acknowledge Rosh Hashanah, what does it say about Landon's ability to recognize/respect diversity?

You just "noticed" something on the web calendar of a school that you're not affiliated with? You seem obsessed with Landon, and with doing anything you can to badmouth the school. Your behavior says so much more about you than it does about Landon.

No. There is a thread entitled, "What is it like to be Jewish at VA/DC Independent HS?", so I looked up Landon's calendar. Sorry you are embarrassed (as you should be) that Landon doesn't have any recognition of the Jewish community.

OP, I haven' t read the rest of the comments but what do you think about GDS not giving the day off?

Et tu, "JDS"?! Say it isn't so.

ON CNBC they were half joking that traders sell on Rosh and buy on Yom Kipur.

Do Harvard and Yale observe the holidays or do they hold classes? If classes are held, I might have apply DS to more than two colleges.

Poor attempt at humor.

Yom Kippur not on the yale Calendar. I guess OP won't be going there as well,

PP: you need serious help. the amount of times you bash a private HS is quite strange. I'm sorry the school finds way to get under your skin so easily.
