Depends on your kid, what subjects they like, how much are they willing to work, what they value and what college and major they want to do. Yes - flame me all you want, but you need to have your end goal in mind before you choose any HS magnet program.

Traville goes to Wootton
King Farm goes to Gaithersburg

Most of Fallsgrove goes to private. When they bought the lots years ago, they thought they were getting Lakewood/Frost/Wootton. No one was happy about RM. Resales are lower than initial prices.

All of Kings Farm south of Redland goes to RM..and there are 2 busses that serve the FallsGrove area so I am thinking they don't ALL go to private school. Traville does go to Wootton.

The kids in the condos and SES housing at King Farm go to public

So do a large number of the kids in SFH in that neighborhood and nearby.

I thought most of the homes in Fallsgrove were built AFTER the 80's which is when the redistricting to RM occurred.

And agree with the other PP, there are 2+ buses from Fallsgrove to RP. My kids have several friends that live there, and people keep buying there, so clearly, not everyone is unhappy about it and sending their kids to private.

What is "SES housing"? Housing that people with an SES live in? Everybody has an SES.

As well as many of the kids in the single family and row homes. My kids play there regularly. There are at least 3 busses from collage gardens for King Farm.

Myth on multiple levels.

The decision to move that land from Wootton to RM was made in 2000 when the development was approved. When people bought it was already assigned to RM. And for what it's worth, resales in Fallsgrove are way above initial sales prices.

23:28 is a complete moron and spreading lies. I am a real estate agent for that area and this flat-out not true. Anecdotally, I have heard that the people there whose kids go to Ritchies Park have liked it.

Ritchie Park? You are kidding, right? Take a look around. It is one of the worse touted schools on these boards. And the Fallsgrove families complain non-stop about the commute past multiple other elementary schools to go to Ritchie Park. It was supposed to be zoned for Lakewood and at this point should still be. RM needed more wealth and white people in their school so they changed it. Now that whole school district is overcrowded including Ritchie Park while the schools they pass are under-enrolled. But I am sure as a real estate agent, your #1 job is to convince everyone about how great the schools are.

They made that change 30 years ago.. The worse touted school? Compared to what? I have no personal information. I understand that there is a mean lunch lady. It also has pretty high scores.

12:18 - worst touted school? What the hell are you talking about? Just go away and go back to Whitman.
