Mmm, how do you make this? |
| Haagen Dazs Peanut Butter Pie. It's a limited edition flavor. I hope they don't stop making it before I have a chance to get sick of it. |
| Talenti Chocolate Peanut Butter and Graeter's mint chocolate chip. I have also been eating a lot of Ben & Jerry's vanilla with fresh peaches on top. Yum!!! |
| Carl's in Fredericksburg <3 |
I make this in my Vitamix: Chocolate, Banana, Peanut Butter Ice Cream 1 cup half and half or whole milk 1/4 cup powdered milk 2 bananas that have been peeled, sliced and frozen 1/4 cup sugar 1 tsp pure vanilla extract 4 heaping tbsp. Nutella 2 heaping tbsp. Peanut butter 4 cups ice cubes or crushed ice Put all ingredients in Vitamix, turn on, immediately turn to number 10 and to high. When the motor noise changes, turn off ( this took less than 1 minute for me.). Pour into a freezable container and freeze overnight, until firm. Let container sit out a bit to begin to soften before serving. I sometimes omit the peanut butter. I imagine this could be made in any blender if you use crushed ice from your fridge instead of ice cubes. I freeze in a covered plastic container. |
| Slow Churned German Chocolate Cake!! Yuuummmmm |
| Gifford's is on sale at Whole Foods, plus they're handing out coupons which brings it down to $3.50 per quart. Wild Maine Blueberry is really good. Their ice cream if pretty soft though.... |
Snider's Super Foods in Silver Spring sells Stone Ridge and Greene's. |
Is it Gifford's of Maine or is it the Gifford's from around here? Your reference to Wild Maine Blueberry has got me going because Gifford's of Maine is seriously good. |
OMG it's from Maine!! Just read their address on the package. WTH??? How is that legal or fair? I told my DC "this ice cream was around when I was a kid." (DC native.) |
Gifford's of Maine has been around for quite a while too. Try Lobster Tracks if you ever have the chance. Delish. |
| Blue belle Dutch chocolate |
| I almost never eat ice cream, but this week it's been pistachio. Makes me think of New England summer evenings, when we'd go get a cone. Always pistachio. |
