What brand ice cream is this? |
The Lemon Graham Crumble is from Stone Ridge Creamery and the Chocolate Chocolate Cupcake is Greene's. I'd never heard of either of those two brands before. They're not premium brands by any stretch but soooo good!! (Just those two flavors -- can't vouch for the rest but there was a wide array of delicious sounding flavors.) |
| Ben & Jerry Salted Caramel Core - its incredible. But the best part is that its totally satisfying in single servings, so a pint actually lasts me 4 days. |
|
Dolcezza's lemon opal basil. It's so refreshing!
I also like Moorenko's creme fraiche to have with crumbles/crisps/grilled fruit etc. |
| Steve's Mexican Chili Chocolate |
I haven't seen these brands in stores b/f. Where do you buy them? |
| Rita's frozen custard. So.good. |
| Blue Bunny Birthday Party. OMG. That blue ribbon of....I don't know what it is! Frosting? I eat very healthy usually, but I lose all control when it comes to this! |
| I "import" mine from Cincinnati -- mint choc. chip Graeter's ice cream. Made Oprah's "best" list several years. No other ice cream (other than homemade) compares. |
|
I got whole foods brand salted caramel gelato - blech.
homemade stuff....chocolate peanut butter fudge ripple. coffee strachitella. cookies and cream. basically any homemade flavor, but now with an infant at home it isn't easy to commit the time to make it. glad we have the whole foods gelato at home because I don't like it so I won't eat it

| oh, PP from ^^^ only purchased ice cream I consistently like is Trickling Springs. omg it's delicious |
Where do you get it -- Whole Foods? I'm OP. I like all the ice cream we've been eating this summer but I think Haagen Dazs is still the best quality. Not going for quality ingredients sure opens up the field in terms of flavor selection though. |
|
duhh PP from ^^ again....my coworker also imports Blue Bell for me - they have it at the walmart by her house so she transports it for me to DC.
Now THATS good ice cream (outside of homemade) |
I buy it at Union Market - they have a stall there (close Sundays) with TONS of flavors, much of it seasonal. It's seriously delicious. As for the Blue Bell stuff - they sell it in Woodbridge and places south, I think maybe even only at Walmart. Trickling Springs is thick and rich. Blue Bell has a little more air in it. And is just delicious. |

We splurged on some Jenni's ice cream for our anniversary lately (a big freezer at Arrowine in Arlington). Man, oh, man. Lime cardamom yogurt. So, so good.
My regular ice cream is either Ben & Jerry's Cherry Garcia or Haagan Dazs Chocolate Chocolate Chip. |
