Do You Think It Is Possible For An Animal (Pet) To Actually Feel Love??

That's not true, please....

They are an evolutionary wonder.

I'm sorry you think this way. You have no idea what you're missing out on.

And so will babies. Does that make them mindless?

Our golden retriever goes into mourning whenever we go out of town and leave her behind. She gets really sad, won't eat or drink if we board her so we have to leave her with a sitter who will give her lots of TLC. Usually we just take her with us because she is such a good, sweet girl and we love her so much. The minute we come home and walk into the house she is just overjoyed and practically cries with happiness. She absolutely loves her family, there is no doubt about that.

That's anxiety. Very common.

Your dog would happily move into a new home if they showed her the same attention. Do you think rescue dogs are somehow different? We adopted a friends beloved dog because they lost a job and had no option, but to move to a no pets apartment. This 5yr old dog was a bit scared for 24hrs, but after that was acting like he lived with us forever and "loved" us too.

All we are doing on this thread is purely speculating.

The only ones who know the TRUE answer are the ones who aren't telling.

And that's the way they like it.
