Susan Rice - moron or liar (Bergdahl)?

She's the friggin' national security adviser. Out of the loop means not up to the job.

So this looks like 2 votes for "moron." I humbly disagree. I think she is a liar. The White House was briefed on his AWOL status. The administration should have learned to be honest after Rice's Benghazi press conferences, "period."

Americans don't give a damn about enlisted men an women who are taken as POWs.

Please source that. There is no question that most POWs were pilots. They were mostly taken in the North--ground forces weren't there. Few ground forces were taken POW.

I too had never heard such a statement. Of the few ground forces taken as POWs, I do see enlisted ranks along with release dates, at this site: http://www.nampows.org/nampowslist.html

So, me thinks that poster is full of shite.

You are totally kidding, right? At least you are no physician because you are totally clueless on assessing someone's health.

Bergdahl looks nothing like his photo from before he went missing. He looks older and more haggard than a man pushing 60 and he's only in his 20s. He looks like hell in the video.

Didn't say he looked healthy. Go look at pictures of concentration camp survivors. Big difference.

Backpedaling now, eh? Glad you finally agree he didn't look healthy. Point made, end of discussion.

The point is that the big O failed to notify Congress (this was O's law). He claimed that BB's health was deteriorating so they had to act quickly. Of course BB could look better, but he was not on death's door. O could have abided by his own law. The reason he did not notify Congress is that he knew the Congress would have blocked it.

You are saying Congress would have blocked a brokered deal to return an American POW. They are complaining now because the Republicans attempt to discredit anything and everything accomplished by any Democratic POTUS.

I doubt they would be so foolish as to block the return of an American POW. Frankly, I don't believe Congress even has the power to obstruct such an exchange from taking place.

In Vietnam they got the Officers who were POWs out and then they let South Vietnam fall to the Communists. No one ever even bothered to look for the MIA enlisted men lost in ground combat.

If Bergdahl was a Commissioned Officer, John McCain would be in favor of his release, but because he is an enlisted man he is expendable and being treated with scorn.

Enlisted servicemen and women should be supporting Sgt. Bergdahl and preventing hypocrites like John McCain from throwing him under the bus.

SAY NO TO SWIFT BOATING AMERICAN SERVICE MEMBERS!!!

You are so full of it. His own fellow service men are saying he deserted. John McCain is NOT saying he should not have been rescued. He is questioning the deal that was made.
And, our military works to find ALL those lost in the line of duty. Rank is of no importance when it comes to finding their fallen colleagues.

I don't know why everyone is so aghast that five taliban went home. It may suck for Afghanistan, but we are leaving there. Taliban have the sole goal of taking control of their country. They are not international terrorists. That was Al Qaeda, and their only interest in Al Qaeda is that they were fighting for the Afghans.

^^ How quickly you forget 9/11/2001.

Susan Rice has become irrelevant. Nothing she says is believed anymore.

The Taliban is declared a terrorist organization by our government.

I'm not always a big McCain fan, bu mentioning that his captors put hom first in line because of his father's position omits the fact that he declined and stayed in captivity.

Is Susan Rice a moron or a liar? Bergdahl was not dying and he certainly didn't serve with honor and distinction.
"Was not dying" - And you know this how? Are you a physician, did you personally evaluate Bergdahl's physical condition?
He looked pretty healthy when he got onto the helicopter. Obama should change his foreign policy over the next 2 years. Every time he has the urge to do something, he should do the opposite. It's the only way to save his presidency.
"Pretty healthy???" He was pale, gaunt, shriveled and skeletal, weak, looked like he was having trouble seeing, he shuffled along with a limp and without any energy, he was holding his one arm as though it were injured, and by all accounts he could barely speak and didn't even know his own name.

I guess the thin, skeletal Jews liberated from Nazi concentration camps were also "pretty healthy" by your reckoning.
Oh no you don't. Do not compare the condition of Holocaust victims to this POS deserter. He didn't look 100% but he didn't appear at death's door either. Sleeping on the ground for 5 years will do that to you. Lesson learned Bowe. The grass ain't always greener.
