If you think that the media should cover this, then call the media. And provide specific information. That ^^^ is not specific information.

My child was also part of the group of kids from Frost where bedbugs were found in one cabin. Lots of communication from the principal - two phone calls and an information sheet sent home. It is upsetting that this is a recurrent issue at Skycroft.
The group to go the second half of the week had a bear sighting, which also was communicated by the school.

Kudos to Frost. JW was mum.

When we went there was a Japanese beetle sighting yet nary a word from our principal. Still upset.

I would not have known there was a problem on my child's trip unless I ran into another parent in the grocery store whose child came home with bites. Had it not been for that chance encounter I would have said my child's trip was fine too.

Bed bugs reported from our middle school principal found at Skycroft this week. All of the bags were co-mingled on the bus on the way home. I can't believe MCPS continues to work with this bed bug infested facility.

MCPS needs to cancel their contract with Skycroft and the place should be shut down. I am outraged that this has been a long standing problem that MCPS knew about and parents weren't told. There were bed bugs found this week, several kids have bites.

YES. this in INSANE. Bedbug treatment runs into the tens of thousands of dollars. With all the kids going through that place, so many homes could be infested. So disgusting.

Skycroft Conference Center needs to be reported to the health department for not handling the bed bugs. They are clearly not getting rid of them. Who do you call to report such a problem?
