And how exactly did you come to that conclusion? He doesn't seem advanced to me at all. |
| I'm just happy my kids (6 & 4) had a delayed interest in his show. Now they can watch it in another room and I don't have to listen to it ? |
Should have been
Lol not ? |
| Charlie Brown was also bald. And older than Caillou. Yet still at least 1000 percent less whiny and annoying. |
| Caillou's parents are also awful. I just....I hate this show. |
| Actually the parents are just frumpy because they are Canadian. |
| Can we talk about the narrator? She sounds like I imagine Minnie Mouse would sound if she was 60 years old and stoned and wearing old lady hippy clothes. |
| He is transitioning |
| No to this show. My daughter always whines and acts bratty after watching a few episodes. |
|
my kids never changed behavior after they started watching this show.
i actually read about it before letting them watch and i just love the author's approach. caillou is bald so every child can identify with him. the show is all colorful and the parents are always awesome because the whole show happens from his perspective so his parents never make mistakes and are always amazing because that's how every 4-5yo sees their parents. |
|
I loathe the day I allowed my child to start watching this show; Caillou is whiney and his parents seem to lightly approach everything that he does.
And that song ... it is the thing of nightmares. |
I've never watched Caillou, yet I thoroughly enjoy these Caillou-bashing threads so much. Especially posts like this one. LOLOLOLOLOL |
Lol. All the dialogue in Charlie Brown is "you must thing I'm stupid". "You blockhead". "You're just going to pull that football away so I fall and kill myself," People are pretty horrible to poor old CB who is fairly neurotic. His dog goes around fighting in imaginary wars (psd?). Pretend shooting even! The horror. No adult supervision at all. Everything today's helicopter parents detest and fear. But we're bitching about politically correct calliou? |
I like Caillou as well. Far better than Sponge Bob. And ... its a childrens show. Showing normal childrens behavior. With an infinitely patient mom (wish I was!). Deals with things like sharing and being bothered by a little sister. |
| 2.5 year old dd said he just has haircut! |
