PP, you bring up a good point about the housing stock in this area -- it is not particularly diverse in terms of architectural styles. I personally think that a California, post-and-beam style ranch would look great in this area as well.

But in any case, you are right, I wouldn't want that house here either, I would want it right where it is (ah the Pacific).
