Places with a mix of housing aren't going to qualify because they use the median. All these places are uniformly wealthy neighborhoods.

I live in McLean, and I'd never heard of "McLean Country Estates." Apparently, it's about 30 houses in total.

So the key to this is live in a really small neighborhood with homogenous (albeit costly) houses.


Potomac Manors, a Potomac neighborhood of just 42 custom-built homes with a median household income of $599,331, good for No. 3 on the list.


All things considered, I think I'd gladly take Edgemoor.
