McLean, Potomac and Bethesda on the Richest Neighborhood list, No Arlington (BOO HOO HOO)

The fact that Swinks Mill is a wealthier enclave than Pelican Hill is what I find really surprising. I know both areas, and it is not even a contest as to which one I would prefer.

To wit, a lovely Pelican Hill manse with beautiful views of the Pacific.

All I know is I NEED to live right next door to a Saudi prince. My life will be a failure if I can't make that happen.

Oh wait, I don't really care.

Which spot did Arlington get?

I find these things so odd. We have an income of 500k, live in Ashburn Iin. SFH that cost us 475k, and never ponder the income of other areas.

Even at 500k, we would never buy a 1M+ home, which is one of the many reasons we don't live closer in.. So many better things to do with our money. Though we do have two rental properties in McLean Hills off Magarity....but that's"hood" to you high rollers.
