2E kid middle school

In our case I have profoundly gifted child in technical fields, who has mild ADHD and has difficulty to focus on things that are not interested for him (writing, humanitives).
He can be focus for hours on things that are interested to him (math, science, programming, chess etc.)

Thanks, my DS has been on IEP since age 3 and now he is 12 at middle school. He always has speech problem. In the class, he seems day dreaming all the time. So we thought he had ADD (no H, as he is always very quiet, so all his teachers love him in the class). He has no focus for almost anything except when he watches TV programs like American Funnies Video and Jeopardy (he even tries to guess some answers).

Recently we had a psychologist did some tests on him --- we were told he just had very short processing memory, it is like a PC with very small RAM. It has been very hard for him to keep up the school work and tests. We are so lucky the local middle school has great teaching staff and his IEP in place. At 7th grade, he can still keep most grade at B level. I know he has a tough road ahead of him as he moves up.

So am I correct? There is no Private school in Metro DC that can handle well 2e gifted child who is 2- 3 grades above in math (officially documented and supported with several independent tests)., but who has low processing speed when it has to do with humanitives and writing...
I am just trying to find options for my child, and there seems to be none (except homeschooling which is not good since child in not socially mature.)

Look at Saint Andrew's in Potomac. As they have an upper school, they can accelerate. Field might work too.

I am lost here.
Saint Andrews is episcopal... (non-religious?)
Field is $40,000 a year and "proudly" has no AP classes (stresses Shakespeare and Homer on front pages). So how 2E kid who is 3 grades above in technical subjects, and struggles with writing is going to be happy there?

Just looked and Field seems to have sound courses, but costs is out of reach anyway.

We have been happy with the Aspergers program at Tilden MS. Math and science are mainstreamed, so they can be at any level. The 2 extra support classes mean no art, music or foreign language. But after school sports are available and there is an activity bus. It was difficult to get an IEP because there were no academic gaps. DC very far ahead in reading/ vocabulary. But finally he fell below grade level in one subject. Not officially diagnosed until age 10. Hoping the Walter Johnson high school Aspergers program is good.

This is my DC to a tee. PP, does your child have an IEP? I'm afraid we waited to long to start the process, but the writing has picked up significantly in 4th grade and DC is really struggling. We know DC has a very slow processing speed from previous testing. We got push back when we tried to set up a meeting with the special ed teacher because DC's test scores are high in both math and reading. Just trying to decide whether it's worth pursuing just for writing assignments and the best way to proceed. We are also considering private for middle school for this reason.

Would welcome any advice.
