Thanks,  my DS has been on IEP since age 3 and now he is 12 at middle school.  He always has speech problem.   In the class, he seems day dreaming all the time.  So we thought he had ADD (no H, as he is always very quiet, so all his teachers love him in the class).   He has no focus for almost anything except when he watches TV programs like American Funnies Video and Jeopardy (he even tries to guess some answers).

Recently we had a psychologist did some tests on him --- we were told he just had very short processing memory,  it is like a PC with very small RAM.   It has been very hard for him to keep up the school work and tests.   We are so lucky the local middle school has great teaching staff and his IEP in place.   At 7th grade, he can still keep most grade at B level.   I know he has a tough road ahead of him as he moves up.  [/quote]
