Your family's favorite frozen/prepared foods from Trader Joe's?

And I live the frozen quiche, and the frozen bean and corn enchiladas.

Some of the frozen appetizers are tasty, especially the mushroom turnovers and the pastry bites with carmelized onions and feta. The frozen vegetable lasagne is not bad.

I like the chicken tikka masala for lunch; DH likes the frozen vegetarian Indian. The only spaghetti sauce that DS will eat is TJ's frozen turkey bolognese.

Also, the curried chicken tenders (not frozen -- and you have to cook them) are pretty good.

I guess I'll be the lone dissenter for the packaged Indian food. I've never found it to be good at all.

We get:

Frozen-

Tamales- all the varieties

Lasagna- Veggie and Meat

Potstickers and the Gyoza sauce to go with it

Falafels

Breaded chicken cutlets

From the fresh prepared fridge-

Salad boxes

Spring Rolls

Ravioli

A recent find for us: lemon pepper pasta with their canned yellowfin tuna in olive oil, capers, and a little extra olive oil. Really tasty and quick.

DH loves their frozen gnocchi sorrentina and penne with peppers.

Kids love the boxes of Indian food.

Frozen breaded chicken tenders.

Just sampled their frozen orange chicken and bought some because it was tasty.

I enjoy the wild Alaska salmon, the tri-color quinoa and the baby kale. Dinner is ready in 30 minutes. Schema indeed.

Lamb vindaloo in the freezer section is awesome. Stuffed mushrooms are delicious too. Also like their spinach artichoke dip.

So far the mozzarella sticks are a hit, and sometimes they will eat the tofu orange "chicken." other suggestions? I have heard the frozen Mac and cheese is good, and the carnitas (for the meat eater). Thanks!

We avoid processed food and thus don't shop at TJ. So much junk.

Why did you post on this thread? The title is clear. You realize that you are not required to weigh in on every single thread. Your post is totally worthless. It serves only to demonstrate to all of us what an incredible asshole you must be.

Because I have found that for some totally inexplicable reason, people seem to associate Trader Joes with being a healthy food store. I like to challenge that premise at every turn. I enjoy wrecking schemas.

In many cases it is better than supermarket alternatives. All of the TJ brand foods are made with non GMO ingredients and no prrsevatives. In addition, their organic dairy options are cheaper than many places and in most instances lets me avoid going to 'Whole Paycheck'.

Chicken burritos, vegetarian burritos (roasted veggie), and corn and black bean enchiladas. All microwave quickly and taste pretty good as long as you don't over cook them.

While you are there, pick up there mango salsa and the green salsa (has a bit of spice) to go with them.

does the sauce come with it or is it a seperate prodc\uct?

Separate.

Where is the sauce? Near the potstickers in the freezer aisle, or do I look in the sauce aisle. What is it called? Why haven't I heard of this before? I feel like my life is not incomplete

Quick 5-min veg meal: canned Cuban black beans mixed with frozen brown rice (microwave 3minutes). Add shredded cheese, avocado, and T.J.'s chipotle salsa. Yum!

The sauce, called Gyoza Dipping Sauce, is in the aisle with the other sauces. I like it a lot.

Or it is displayed right above the freezer where the gyoza are located oftentimes.

Easily, the three-bag box of frozen rice, both white and brown rice.

I was thinking that potstickers in a thermos with sauce on the side might be good for DC's lunch. Do you think that could work?

I tried this for my son and he said they got mushy in the thermos and didn't really like them, but maybe I prepared them wrong for that type of meal.

We like the Kung Pao Chicken - in the frozen aisle with the Asian foods.
