Tretorn, sebago, outback red...I'm feeling nostalgic

I'm so nostalgic after reading this thread. I had that Coke rugby shirt when I met my DH.

Loves Baby Soft perfume. I practically bathed in that stuff.
Or the liz Claiborne perfumes in the triangle bottles.
Am I remember correctly that the Outback Red stuff has the label on the outside at the back of the neck?
Rugby Shirts from Britches with my Duckhead shorts...
We dressed so tomboyish back in the day. Im old cause now when I see my teenage girl cousins in tiny short shorts and tanks I cringe a bit.

LOVED outback red. Does anyone else remember diaper shorts? They were in style either right before or right after Jams (can't remember).

This thread is awesome. Definitely made me nostalgic.

BTW, I saw in an interview with Andrew McCarthy a while ago. He explained that the reason his hair looked so weird in the prom sequence at the end of P in P was b/c he had already shaved his head for another role and had to go back to re-shoot the ending.

Spot on! Indeed diaper shorts came out summer of '84, Jams in '85.

My diaper shorts were tropical print with black background. i wore these with jelly shoes.

Does anyone remember Banana republic when it first opened - very different style from what it is today. With the crazy safari theme at the storefront - palm trees and elephants.

Yes! And I still have a sweatshirt from that era. Still wear it too. That was also when Gap was edgy.
