Make your own Flashdance-style sweatshirts. I cut up my summer camp hooded sweatshirt (before they were even called hoodies) and my mom was horrified.

Vuarnet sunglasses
Members Only jackets
Izod shirts (or, the Fox from Sears)
deelie boppers (headbands with two antennaes attached)
Baseball shirts
Concert tees on baseball style shirts

My favorite cosmetic brands:

Faberge Organics shampoo
Aziza eye shadow
Bonne Bell Ten o Six
Lip smackers or Kissing Potion gloss in glass bottle
Sea breeze
Noxema in the jar
Hawaiian Tropic Suntan Oil
Tatiana perfume

Don't forget Used jeans... My mother was appalled that I wanted her to buy me pre-ripped, pre-patched jeans and I wanted to wear them to school.

Classic Ray Ban sunglasses
Vans with floral patterns. We had to drive to Sunshine House in Ocean City to get those.
Others have mentioned my first thoughts - Britches Great Outdoors (I wish I hadn't tossed the rugby shirt!) and Jams.
Commander Salamander anything.
Pins with sayings on them pinned all over the lapels of thrift store blazers.
High top Chuck Taylors.
Scrunchy socks.
Even better - two pairs of scrunchy socks in different colors, preferably worn with the Chucks.
Piling on - 2 colors of those socks and Chucks worn with camouflage pants (socks showing, camouflage rolled up or tucked in).
At the peak... Everything above, with two layered polo shirts (Polo, Izod, or Britches acceptable, nothing else, and you never mixed brands when layered) with the collars up.

Or was that just me?

Reebok high tops (with2pairs of slouchy socks)
Jordache striped jeans with ankle zippers
Gasoline two- toned jeans
Bongo jean minis
Santa Cruz madras pants and skirts
Those web belts that doubled as headbands- like Madonna wore
Panama Jack tees
White jazz oxfords as regular shoes
I Ski sunglasses

And I'm pretty sure I was the lone lemon in my school group who wasn't a member of Members Only. Still scarred.

And I'm doubly nostalgic tonight- Pretty In Pink was on cable today. Ah, Blaine...

Layering outback reds, with guess jeans, and scunchy socks to match the shirts, over your jeans. Calvaricchi jeans too!

I loved Tweeds.

I also loved allen + allen. And many more brands already mentioned. Good times!
