IVFers, how old are you and how many eggs?

IVF#1, 35y, 2 eggs retrieved, 2 embryos transferred - BFN IVF#2, 35y, 5 eggs retrieved, 3 fertilized, 2 looked good for transfer - BFN IVF#3, 35y, 9 eggs retrieved, 4 fertilized but two fertilized abnormally, transferred 2 - BFN IVF#4, 36y, 3 eggs retrieved, 2 fertilized and 2 embryos transferred - BFN IVF#5, 36y, 4 terieved, 3 fertilized, tarnsferred 3 - BFN IVF#6, 36y, 3 retrieved, 2 fertilized, transferred 2 a day before my 37th b-day - BFN On TTC break for the last 6 months. Scared to try DE because of immune issues. |

Are all your cycles with the same clinic? If you have immune issues it is probably time for a change in clinics. |

the cycles were with 4 clinics - CCRM and Shady Grove included. Last two cycles were with Dr Braverman and Neupogen. waiting for my new insurance to kick in in January and considering what to do next. I have good survival rate despite the low number of eggs retrieved and that's the reason I kept going. |

IVF#1 - age 41 - 10 eggs, transferred 3 on Day 3, froze 1, BFP with m/c at 7 weeks
IVF#2 - age 42 - 9 eggs, transferred 3 on Day 5, none to freeze, BFN IVF #3 - age 43, 7 eggs, transferred 5 on Day 3, none to freeze, BFN IVF #4 - age 43, 10 eggs, transferred 4 on Day 3, none to freeze, BFP with twins, one twin vanished at 6 weeks, other baby looks good so far All cycles with Shady Grove |

| I'm 23 and had my egg retrieval today. We were told to expect about 20-25 and got 53 eggs!!! We are still in shock!! Not sure how many are mature but doc said he would call tomorrow to see how many actually fertilize which should be around 30% |

IVF at 36
14 retrieved 14 fertilized with ICSI Only 3 made it to day 5 blasts 2 transferred, 1 frozen. BFP with twins, but lost one twin. Still seeing if remaining singleton sticks. |

| IVF at almost 39. 15 retrieved. 14 fertilized (2 with ICSI), 11 growing normally at day 5 but only 2 early blasts by day 5. 4 more made it to blast on day 6 and frozen. One early blast transferred on day 5 and so far one BFP. |

| IVF with ICSI #1 at 23. 12 eggs retrieved, 9 eggs initially fertilized, 2 more eggs fertilized later for a total of 11 eggs fertilized. Ended up with 2 day 5 blasts and 1 day 6 blast. Transferred 1 day 5 blast and froze additional two. Cycle failed. Proceeded with FET #1 6 months later with frozen day 5 blast and succeeded. |

42.2 yrs old ivf no 1 8 eggs retrieved 7 fertilized 6 made it to day5 froze 4 2 transfered BFP M/C 5 weeks
42.5 yrs old ivf no 2 8 eggs retrieved 7 fertilized 6 again went to day 5 blasts froze 4 transferred 2 - 1 healthy DS 44 FET 2 blasts BFN 44.5 IVF no 3 2 eggs retrieved 2 fertilized Transferred both on day 3 PLUS 1 frozen on day 5 (split transfer)BFP M/C 10 wks 44.9 IVF no 4 just started .... but baseline follicle count looks better then last time ... fingers crossed! |
