Molluscum Contagiosum So Gross Skin Virus

My DD unfortunately has these too—on his rear end. Given their location, our treatment options are limited. For those of you who used Tagamet — were there any adverse side effects of your kids when on the medicine? How long did they take it for? TIA!

When my kids got it, I got it too. That was awesome. I finally got rid of it by picking at them methodically in the shower. The mollescum have a sort of "seed" in the center which I picked at until it came out. I did it in the shower so water just washed away anything gross. I found that if I removed it as soon as it showed up, it didn't spread.

I am sure this method was not dermatologist recommended but it worked.
