so that would be about $600 for the year
Costco sells annual 24h fitness memberships for about $360

whaaat? really? is that for all the level? The way they do pricing the hgher level gym are more.

I need to look into this.

The 24hr Fitness gyms around here are actually the 'Super Sport' level, which on Costco is $650/2years. That works out to about $28/month.

Does anyone know the monthly price for gyms near downtown DC? Like Results, the Y on Rhode Island Ave NW, other places around there?

I pay $92/month for Vida. Don't know cost of the others.

Anyone know of a cheap gym in Annandale or FC? I don't need anything too fancy, as I mostly prefer to do stuff outdoors, but like having a gym for when weather is gross.

I pay $44.99 (annual contract starting in Sept) but was told the price has gone up to $49.99/mon with a contract.

I just joined one and I like what I see so far. I don't need a pool and tons of classes so I don't want to pay for all of that. I want some of the weight machines and the treadmills.

evolution fitness in sterling is offering 9.95 a month. No frills or classes but good machines, new & clean.

Anyone joined WSc lately?

Do any of these gyms offer discounts for high school students?

Not true. They just raised it to $20/kid

If we are current members, do we have to pay that or do we keep paying the 6$/kid?

Current members have to pay that.

I'm so pissed at LTF over this. I already spend 1, 000/mo on personL training.. He's the only reason I stay there. I'm seriously considering ditching LT for the much cheaper Ashburn Golds.

How cheap?

They had a promo in Aug 2012 we jumped on, $100 per person for an entire year (12 months) if pre-paid, unlimited training, open 24/7. Not the best place to work out, but does the trick for basic stuff. Now they are running $20/month, but check their website for promos. I've seen some gyms running discounts if you sign up prior to 15th of Dec.

They just did another promo for $10 a month, although there is also a "yearly fee" that really bumps it up to $12 a month. Seems to have everything I need, but I only need a gym for weekends. Anyway, if anyone is considering joining, I'd call and ask when the next $10 a month sale is (or something like that) to see if they offer it to you. My guess is they make a killing in people joining up for a cheap fee and never going.

I pay 19.99/ month and got them to waive the initiation fee

What about crunch in nw dc? I really just want to attend their classes and have NO interest in talking to a sales person. Anyone know their month to month?

Crunch is $49.99 a month without a yearly contract; it's less with a contract. They have a lot of classes, and most of them are pretty good.
